Cypris

Cypris caught the first kiss of fire’s love on April 1, 2006.  It has since developed from amusement to passion.  Thanks to lots of practice and help from her friends,  Cypris has become a world-traveling fire performer.

She and Kara* formed Exuro in October of 2006.  They began collaborating with Jacob Felder for adagio balance and partner yoga in 2009.  Most recently, after spinning her way across the United States, Cypris took the leap of moving to the West Coast.

Her tools of expression are fire poi, fire fans, fire eating, LED poi, practice poi, and flags.   Cypris has performed at many different venues including: Caliente Resort, The Millennium Center, Artistica, Gallery Hops, The Wearhouse, Deerfields, The Sawtooth Center for fine Art, Amos’s South End, The Wherehouse, and many others.

Also a classically trained chef, Cypris has been a personal chef, restaurateur,  food critic, and caterer.  Her love of food has inspired a travel bug.  This thirst for travel has taken her to Iceland, Ireland, France, Italy, Jamaica, British Colombia, and across the US.   Seattle, Washington is her current home base.

    Hey Guys!

So good to hear from you. The Northwest is super cool. I spun fire last weekend while looking at the Seattle skyline. My aerial classes are awesome! And Ben is DJ-ing every Saturday at the spin jams. You guys should come visit.

Miss you two super hella tons!

    Love,

    Cypris
